Description
Our country loaf is naturally leavened with a wild yeast starter. Long fermentation (spanning 24-36 hours) and fresh-milled whole grain flours impart beautiful complexity of flavor and the slight tang that is characteristic of San Francisco-style sourdough.
Suggested Pairings: Perfect for savory or sweet spreads. Our personal favorite for a classic grilled cheese or try it toasted and slathered with European butter and avocado.
Note: Our minimum batch size yields two loaves, hence the minimum order quantity is two loaves per flavor. Extra loaves make excellent gifts for a friend, they also store very well in the freezer!
